South Texas ISD World Scholars Reviews

Rating 4 out of 5
My experience at world scholars has been overall a good experience. It is a small school which means the community there is very close the education is good, there are lots of opportunities, and the teachers are very welcoming.

It was a mess. When I went to school there, the staff was primarily focused on the IB program then the future of the students there. The biggest struggle that students had was how they did not help students at all when it come to college. There was no guidance on scholarships, college information, or even how to know what major to choose or college. The only way to get that information is if you took an enrichment course, and that course rotated every 3 weeks, or even less. The teacher for that course dropped that course for her soccer team, so there was no guidance on what to do for anyone. South Texas ISD is notorious for its mistreatment for teachers, to say that they were overworked would be an understatement. It is not a good school to attend to.

The school had great teachers and staff, a safe learning environment, and overall a great community. The downsides however are that they were never very organized and it would result in a lot of problems with events.
