I have been to this location once or twice and took a break getting my nails done because it’s so hard to find a committed tech that does a great job . I decided to come back & do a full set . A gentleman got a little aggravated because I told him my opinion to fix the nails he was doing because they came out botched . He then decided to direct me to another woman named Jenny , & did an amazing job . Took her time after closing to make sure they came out beautiful . She saved the day . Please call for Jenny . ! They made me pay before painting my nails and I'm the only one they've made do so (I've been here 3 times so I was able to tell) .Also the third and last time I got my nails done here, it wasn't done correctly and my nails look 3 weeks old when it's only been a week. I've never had any problems with the staff but their work could be better for what they charge. Read Less

I used to swear by this place, they do a quality job when they want to. The other day I went in for a quick polish change and my service was done in under 10 minutes, I had to ask them to cut my nails because he just zoomed through it. It's been less than 48 hours and 3 of my nails have chipped. Needless to say I will not be returning anytime soon. Read Less

Asked for tips and the Sns system. He started the sns and never put tips on. I specifically asked for the SNS system. Then the dip power he was using was not SNS (kept the label away from me) then finished with a gel top coat. If I wanted gel then I would have gotten gel??? It was obviously not the full system. This place is great! I called the morning of and made an appointment for a friend and I with Kent. We were immediately seated which was great! I made an appointment for 2, with only one person because I heard Kent was the absolute best. He did a great job switching between us and made sure we were both happy with our color, shape, and length choices. Needless to say we are both very happy. Read Less

Okay. I have been here before and they did a great job. Went back today and the guy literally butchered my fingers. He was so rough and my fingers and nails were already sensitive to begin with but he kept filing my nails/skin to the point two of my fingers were bleeding. Half my nails are sore and Inflamed. I was in pain as he was doing my nails and I'm in worse pain now. After this I feel like I never wanna get my nails done again. Read Less

I'm not sure why this nail salon has bad reviews. I went today and loved it. Ken or Kent, not sure which name it is, did my gel fill and basic pedicure. He did a great job. I would definitely call ahead and make an appointment with him. They have every color you could think of, regular polish and gel. Great atmosphere! Read Less

This is the worst place ever went here to Day 6/2 had a pedi they were horrific the water was cold the lady didn't ask me if the water was ok didn't cut the chair on nor asked me if I wanted a water it took all of 10 minutes for this wasted time for the pedi I was done never ever again I didn't pay and the towels was dirty as hell I am calling the health Department Monday stay away far away Read Less

Wife just had a pedicure done, customer service was terrible, dirty towels, did not offer anything to drink or did not put the pedicure chair on, while other patrons received those services that I did not. When asked to speak to manager about the terrible pedicure I received, she abruptly told me that I did not have to pay just to get me out of their establishment. Would definitely NOT RECOMMEND this place!! And this rating is not even a 1, just had to place it to continue with this review! Read Less

DO NOT GO HERE. I have gotten my nails done for over 20 years, and this was the worst experience I have ever had. I recently moved to the area, and went to VIP for the first time. Joe was SO rough. The side of my finger is still blood stained and throbs 2 days after getting a gel mani. However, this pales in comparison to the customer beside me. Ken was so rude and hateful toward this woman and her young daughter from the time they got there. At one point, he called her STUPID for asking a question about her nails. I was appalled. I leaned over and told her I was so sorry she was being treated like that. She assured me she would have left if he had not already started on her nails. Read Less

I always have trouble finding a nail tech that understands what I want . I'm very picky and once I find someone i like I won't let anyone else touch my nails. I found Kent after moving here from NYC and he is just a great artist . He takes his time & is very creative . Ask for him next time you need beautiful delicate nails . Read Less

From the amount of times I've visited this place I can say it's overall decent. However some of the employees there don't seem to be skilled at all. I've given them 4 stars because of Ken, he is the best one there hands down in my opinion. I'll never let anyone else there do my manicure or pedicure except for him. He takes his time and makes sure his work is excellent. The last time I let someone there other then Ken do my nails it was a horrible disaster, she didn't shape my nails or file them or anything. I just visited the other day with a friend to get pedicures and the guy didn't file my toenails down and as soon as I made it home my Polish started chipping. I have never had this issue with Ken and I highly recommend him. He will not disappoint you! The only other good nail tech there is Kathy (I believe her name is), but Ken is my go to person. If he isn't there to do my nails then I don't let anyone else touch them. Read Less

Going to VIP Nails is always a great experience! The pricing goes with the quality of service you receive. Ken is my guy! I will only see him! If get is booked up on the day I wanna get my nails done I will wait and schedule an appointment for another day! I see him every 3-4 weeks and always get an acrylic fill with gel polish, my nails never lift. I needed a new set today so we had fun with it since Valentine's Day is coming up (pictures are posted)!If you're looking for a great place to get your nails done VIP Nails is it! I came here on a recommendation and I actually really like it here! The staff were super friendly, the man who did my mani/pedi did an amazing job & the decor was really nice! The water wasn't too hot and I was in & out within an hour.My only issue with the place was the one lady working next to the guy I had had over heard me talking about that I'm moving and started to trash talk my current living situation and the new place. VIP NAILS & SPA IS THE WORST NAIL SALON I HAVE EVER BEEN TO! I was worried about the quality before I left the salon, but the store owner (which was the person that did my nails) assured me that they would fix them if they chipped. I have never had someone paint gel over dip powder before. I was worried the gel coat would chip. I was also worried about the powder coats quaility. The owner told me "I did your nails thinner this time, so if they chip just come back in and I will fix them. We guantatee our work here" I think ok what can I loose. The gel coat started chipping the first night. By day four, the powder coat started chipping at the top which has never happened to me before. It is the week of Christmas and New Years. I went back to them to have it fixed. And, they told they would fix it if I paid them. It is not much of a guantatee if I have to pay again. I will never have them touch my nails again. I've been looking for a nail salon since moving to the east side. So I finally decided to take a chance on this place. The decor is nice. I went for a manifold and pedi. I arrived about 10:45am. Firstly, no one was at the front desk greeting customers. So I waited a few minutes before a guy showed up. I assumed they were busy and I should be patient. He asked what services I wanted, went to the back then about 5 min later a lady came up and took me to the back. She was quite friendly. She started my pedi, which the water was cool. So I asked her to warm it up. She did a good job on my pedi. Then for the manifold.....OK...Let me back it up....I knew instantly she was a newbie, but I thought to myself we've all been new at some point at everything we've all done.... Right!? Anyway, I didn't leave until 2 hours later. So glad I wasn't in a rush to be somewhere. Overall, I probably won't go back. It just didn't feel right. Read Less

I got my nails and eye brows done today. The person who did my nails did an excellent job and i would have rated my experience with 5 stars for that; however, the lady who did my eye brows was unexperienced. I asked no shaping, just a clean up, now each of my eye brows look different. Not only that, the hair stylist had to remove wax from both sides of my hair. She did say that she was new, but after the service was done. I will probably not be coming back. Read Less

This place is terrible. Do not waste your time or money. My pedicure was a mess, and the lady cut my toenails at the corners for no reason and it looks a mess. On top of that the manicure they said could be done, was not able to be done and I asked to switch it and I was told I was wasting their time. This place is a joke and they are extremely rude! I've been on the hunt for our "go to" nail salon for over a year now. There's so many in the Waterford Lakes area and so I must try them all before finding the ONE. Items I look for when on the hunt for a new nail salon. - Cleanliness- Quality of Work Performed (scrub, painting, massages)- Pricing(4*) Cleanliness: I've seen lots of places use plastic liners which I like but then I don't see sanitizing of the tools which is gross. This place doesn't use the liner but I did see fresh new sanitized tools in plastic wrap for each person. Liners would be nice. (5*) Quality of Work: Jenny did great. I loved the massaging chair which also has seat cushions that work also to relieve your stress. She scrubbed my feet and I swear she left it baby smooth. Major plus! Painting was on point. I just got the regular pedicure. Her massaging was nice and I felt immediately relaxed. I'm not for conversation w my nail tech. She was all work and less chatting which I feel can distract techs at times. (4.5*) Pricing: For the work she did I was pleased with the $25. I usually get a deluxe but $50 is craziness. The pricing there increases dramatically. I'm sending my husband in tomorrow to see what he says but I was happy. Will see her again! Next time for a manicure. have had nothing but POOR experiences with VIP Nails - Tina and Alyssa (the new owner) especially. I have found Alyssa to be extremely RUDE and lack common sense when it comes to good customer service as evidenced by several prior reviews. Tina, as described in prior reveiews, rushed through replacing a nail that had broken off after two days, and sent me out the door with bumps and bubbles as though it were perfectly acceptable. She is very combative when she answers the phone and speaks little to no English. I believe she is also in charge of the cleaning there and I wouldn't recommend going in there needing to use the restroom as it is disgusting. I have had the pleasure of working with Vicki who is sweet, kind, and extremely particular about her work, and have never left her with a set of nails I wasn't proud of. Unfortuantely, the owner has fired Vicki for circ*mstances I wish I could share on here, instead I will simply say DO NOT SUPPORT THIS SALON. They are very shady and underhanded firing anybody who develops a serious clientele. Save yourself the grief and go see Vicki at In Style next to TJ Max in the Waterford Town Center @ (407) 275-9999. I love this place. I was going to Magic Nails for a while, and they started to get sloppy and disinterested in what they were doing. VIP nails never makes me wait -- it's always in the door then in the chair. The atmosphere is subdued and relaxing. The quality of the work is fabulous. I got a pedicure over a month ago and it still looks amazing!! The owner is constantly running specials, too. Everyone there is really nice and speaks very good english (this is a plus because im very picky). I love how this place is CLEAN.. I noticed that they sterlize their tools instead of picking them out of a cabinet/drawer like some other places (and you have no idea if its clean or not). Everything is pre-packaged which is a relief because I don't have to bring my own stuff. it's a nice place to relax because the atmosphere is very tranquil. I would recommend my favorite tech but she's always booked!! The guys there are hilarious, I love this place :) Read Less

I went with my friend who was about 8 months pregnant at the time. We got the deluxe or ultimate pedicures and manicures. It was the best mani/pedi we had ever had. Give them a try. The facilities are gorgeous. They have massage chairs, fish tanks, and they offer you beverages. I highly recommend giving this nail salon a try. There are lots of nail salons in Orlando, but try this one and you will never go back to another one. Read Less
