Estimated Payments Statement of Account

Individuals (residents or nonresidents) and estates or trusts can verify the amounts of their New Jersey estimated payments and credits online. To use the online inquiry, you will need the following information:

  • Social Security Number (Federal Identification Number for estates or trusts)
  • Date of Birth (Estates or trusts use either date of decedent’s death or date trust was created)
  • Amount of your refund or balance due from your New Jersey Income Tax return for last year or the year before.

If you are filing a joint return, use the social security number and date of birth of the spouse/civil union partner who was listed first on your NJ-1040ES estimated payment voucher or your tax return.

You will not be able to use the online inquiry if you did not file a New Jersey tax return for last year or the year before. Call the Customer Service Center at 609-292-6400 during normal business hours for assistance if you cannot access the online inquiry, or if you need to verify payments or credits for tax years that are not available online.

Verify the amounts of your New Jersey estimated tax payments and credits.
